Wide Brim Sun Hat Black

Our perfect wide brim sunhat is handwoven by skilled artisans in Guatemala using natural palm leaves. Available in classic tan and sleek black, each hat is finished with a genuine leather cord and a delicate horsehair braid, offering a subtle equestrian-inspired touch. An elastic band inside ensures a comfortable, adjustable fit.

Please note: Each hat is a handcrafted work of art, so slight variations in shape and weave are natural. The color of the palm subtly changes with sunlight and age. While both colors use Guatemalan palm leaves, the black hats are specially dyed and sealed for a chic, lasting finish. Like any cherished equestrian accessory, the black sunhat may develop scuffs or chips over time—these add character, but can also be easily refreshed with a black epoxy spray or paint pen.

One size fits most, fitting head circumferences from 48–60 cm. The crown is about 4" tall. The brim measures 4" at the front and back, and 4.75" at the sides. Overall dimensions are approximately 16.5" wide by 17" long with a 4.5" depth.

Spot clean only with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid soaking or submerging the hat in water. Store in a cool, dry place.
